The Casablanca Stock Exchange opens in positive territory

The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading slightly up Thursday, its main index, the Masi, gaining 0.06% to 12,433.49 points.

A few minutes after the opening, the MSI20, which reflects the price performance of the 20 most liquid companies, was stable at 1,020.51 points and the Madex, a compact index composed of stocks quoted on a continuous basis, rose 0.06% to 10,105.86 points.

The benchmark Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) “Casablanca ESG 10”, meanwhile, rose 0.27% to 931.72 points.

At values, Managem soared 3.97%, the largest increase at the start of the day, followed by Alliances (+ 2.37%) and Snep (+ 2.09%).

On the downside, M2M Group lost 3.9%, Ciments du Maroc dropped 1.18% and Sodep-Marsa Maroc lost 0.68%.
