Justin Trudeau sends message to Moroccans in Canada

In this message, the Prime Minister expressed, on behalf of the government, the Canadian people and on his own behalf, his warmest congratulations and best wishes for the well-being of Moroccans.

The 22nd anniversary of King Mohammed VI‘s accession to the throne is a “wonderful opportunity for Canadians of Moroccan descent to celebrate their heritage and to strengthen the ties that unite them,” said Mr. Trudeau.

Justin Trudeau took the opportunity to salute their contribution to Canadian society, highlighting “the culture of traditional ties that have shaped the rich cultural heritage over the years.”

“The Feast of the Throne is an important opportunity to reconnect with their heritage and to celebrate it,” he added, noting that it also allows Canadians from all walks of life to better understand Moroccan culture.
