Football: La Liga presents its Spanish-Arabic dictionary

La Liga recently presented its Spanish-Arabic football dictionary, in collaboration with the Cervantes Institute and the Spanish Embassy in Morocco, as part of the celebration of “Cervantine Week”.

A press release from the institute indicates that this dictionary, developed by Cervantes and La Liga, aims to promote the learning of the Spanish language in several countries of the MENA region through the influence of football and the most famous teams and players in Spain.

This 59-page, free-to-download bilingual football thematic dictionary provides a wealth of information about clubs, players, competitions and football terminology useful in the world of travel and tourism, notes Cervantes.

The online presentation of this dictionary on football terminology was transmitted via Facebook by the Cervantes Institute in Rabat, with the participation of the La Liga delegate in Morocco, Ignacio Gomez Galiana, the director of the Institute, Jose Maria Martinez and the cultural advisor of the Spanish Embassy in Morocco, Francisco de Borja Morate, it is specified.
