This Tuesday, September 14, the epidemiological assessment of the Ministry of Health shows 28,602 active cases under treatment at the national level and 65 new deaths. Likewise, 26,508 tests were carried out in 24 hours, bringing the national total of tests since the start of the pandemic to 8,485,832 tests.
In addition, Morocco has recorded 65 new deaths due to Covid-19, bringing the national total since the start of the pandemic to 13,683. The case fatality rate stood at 1.5% on Tuesday, according to the results of the Ministry of Health.
In details, the deaths are distributed as follows: 16 new deaths in the region of Grand Casablanca-Settat (10 in Casablanca, 2 in El Jadida and 4 in Settat), 12 in the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (1 in Kénitra, 6 in Salé, 3 in Skhirate-Témara, 1 in Rabat and 1 in Sidi Slimane) and l’Oriental (1 in Berkane, 3 in Oujda-Angad, 1 in Figuig, 2 in Guercif and 5 in Taourirt), 6 in Béni Mellal-Khénifra (1 in Fquih Ben Salah, 3 in Béni Mellal and 2 in Khouribga) and 5 in Marrakech-Safi (4 in Marrakech and 1 in Chichaoua).
Likewise, 4 deaths were recorded in the regions of Fès-Meknes (2 in Meknes, 1 in Sefrou and 1 in Boulemane) and Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (2 in Al Hoceima, 1 in Tangier and 1 in M’diq Fnideq), 2 deaths are counted in Souss-Massa in the city of Agadir, while 3 have been identified in Guelmim Oued-Noun (1 in Assa-Zag, 1 in Guelmim and 1 in Sidi Ifni). The last region to have a new death is that of Daraâ-Tafilalet in Ouarzazate. The other regions of the Kingdom have not recorded any deaths in the last 24 hours.
Also in its daily epidemiological report, the Ministry of Health reports 220 new severe cases admitted to intensive care in 24 hours for a national total of 1,684 cases on Tuesday. There are 824 cases under non-invasive ventilation, while those under intubation number 58.
In addition, and as indicated by the Hespress watch and monitoring platform, covid.hespress.com, the Kingdom has identified during the last 24 hours, 2,787 new confirmed cases of Covid-19, bringing the national total of proven contaminations to 908.349.
Morocco has also recorded 3,958 healings bringing the national total since the start of the pandemic to 866,064 remissions. The cure rate is 95.3% on Tuesday.
Regarding vaccination, the number of beneficiaries of the first dose of the vaccine since the start of the national campaign has reached 20,362,745, including 16,875,343 totally, says the Ministry of Health.
